Students will be experiencing Physical Education in a new way soon. The District has provided us with a new curriculum, "Game Day at the School". We will be learning how to do new games, dances, and other physical activities which are aimed at boosting self esteem, endurance, and sportsmanship.
We have begun learning about our state's history in our new Social Studies curriculum. With this new approach, students can actually write in their (consumable) texts and improve their note-taking skills as well. Ask to see your child's new Social Studies text! In February 2008, students will be participating in the school's "Black History Month" events.
